Is My Dog a Full Blooded Pit Bull? This is Riley. I got her when she was 7 weeks old! This Saturday she will be a year old. I've had multiple people ask me if she's a full blooded Pit and she looks to me to be one, but I just wanted another opinion.

She looks purebred. You could have a DNA test done to make sure.

Very alert! Appearances can sometimes fool you as they many times change as the puppy gets a little older but since Riley (cute name) is a year old this may be her full grown look.

A DNA test is the only way to be sure if she is purebred or a mix. These DNA test kits are sold at many pet stores, over the Internet and at your local veterinarian. The cost usually runs from $65 to 200 dollars.
