I have brought this new pet. I have been told it's a Pit Bull. I have never kept one. Can anyone tell me if it's a Pit Bull or not?

Looks like a pit bull lab mix

From the dog lover point of view...there may be a little Pit in him...could be where he got his handsome brindle coloring...although other dogs have the brindle (color) coats, as well as those super powerful looking paws.
Very sweet!! Check with your vet and maybe he/she can tell by the teeth/bone structure etc. From a dog lover point of view, the brindle color may be from a Pit or one of the bully breeds, although other breeds have that coloring. The ears are beagley or maybe lab ish. The snout also has a little bit of a bully dog, maybe blue nose Pit. The big paws could also be a little of the bully breed. No matter what! Enjoy!!!
She looks like a mix to me. But there is some pit bull in there for sure.

Looks like a Plotthound or Plott mix ..if you Google them you will agree I had one they are the Pittbulls of the hunting dogs super cool breed..
