Japanese Fruit Pie
This pie has coconut, pecans, and dates in it. It is rather unusual, a form of pecan pie with a little twist!
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 medium eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup oleo, melted
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 cup dates
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup pecan pieces
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell.
- Bake in 325 degree F oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
