John Deere LT133 Stalls When Blades Engaged?

My John Deere LT133 starts and runs, but dies as soon as I engage the mower blades. It has a new fuel filter, air filter, and new gas. I am not sure what else to check or inspect.

There is a safety switch under the seat. It may be fairly or have some wires exposed. Fix this first.
