I always advise families to make a connection with a local church for help with family/children's needs. You do not have to be a member - just contact their office.
Florida is a 'family' state and there are numerous agencies/sites that offer help 'for the asking'.
You may already be too late for a Thanksgiving 'dinner' but most places will help if you make an effort and complete applications.
