This a great handmade and sentimental card for dad, grandpa, or any fatherly figure. You can apply this same concept for mom, grandma, aunt, uncle, friend, co-worker, teacher, etc.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • glue/tape
  • marker

Steps:

  1. Trace your toddler's hand and cut out.
  2. Fold standard construction paper in your choice of color in half.
  3. Glue palm and pointing finger of cut out hand down to your card. Then gather the fingers together except for pointer finger and tape or glue the fingers in place.
  4. Write your custom greeting phrase, mine read "Happy Birthday, #1 DAD!". Now your toddler can draw or create an artwork piece for dad. This would be a sentimental card to cherish!
