#1 Dad Birthday Card - finished card with message on frontThis a great handmade and sentimental card for dad, grandpa, or any fatherly figure. You can apply this same concept for mom, grandma, aunt, uncle, friend, co-worker, teacher, etc.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • glue/tape
  • marker
#1 Dad Birthday Card
 

Steps:

  1. Trace your toddler's hand and cut out.
  2. #1 Dad Birthday Card - trace your toddler's hand and cut it out
     
  3. Fold standard construction paper in your choice of color in half.
  4. #1 Dad Birthday Card - fold construction paper in half
     
  5. Glue palm and pointing finger of cut out hand down to your card. Then gather the fingers together except for pointer finger and tape or glue the fingers in place.
  6. #1 Dad Birthday Card - gather rest of fingers into the center and tape or glue in place
     
  7. Write your custom greeting phrase, mine read "Happy Birthday, #1 DAD!". Now your toddler can draw or create an artwork piece for dad. This would be a sentimental card to cherish!
