Making a 30 Cent Brownie Mix

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

1. Add and mix the dry ingredients.

 
2. At this point if you want to give the mix as a gift, put in a pretty container with instructions to add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of oil and a t of vanilla and to bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

 
3. If you want to bake the brownies first, add the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix well.

 
5. Add the batter to a greased 8 x 8 in. pan.

 
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

 
7. Cool on a wire rack. After the brownies have cooled, wrap in cellophane, tie with ribbon and add a gift tag.
