Making a Paper Valentine Tree - Valentine treeIf we can have a Christmas tree we can also create a Valentine's Day tree for the new season. Love month is full of hearts so I guess it's time to replace the pine tree with hearts.

Supplies:

  • paper roll
  • scissors
  • pink and red colored papers
  • glue (preferably hot glue but you can use white glue)
  • any scrap paper
  • toothpick
  • any accessories of your choice
Making a Paper Valentine Tree - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Wrap the paper roll with any scrap paper. A magazine page is okay.
  2. Making a Paper Valentine Tree - wrap the paper tube with any paper
     
  3. Set aside.

  5. Make a paper cone and then set it aside.
  6. Making a Paper Valentine Tree - make a paper cone and set it aside for later
     
  7. Cut hearts out of the pink and red paper. They should be the same size.
  8. Making a Paper Valentine Tree - cut out hearts from pink and red paper

  9. Stick hearts around the cone starting from the bottom.

  11. Cover the cone with the hearts in alternate colors. See photo.

  13. Cut out small heart shaped pieces and stick on a toothpick like this.
  14. Making a Paper Valentine Tree - make a layered heart from small heart shaped pieces of paper and glue to a toothpick
     
  15. Insert the toothpick into the top of the tree.

  17. Decorate tree with extra accessories.

  19. Place the cone over the paper roll and it's done.
