With a magazine and bottle caps, you can make a matching game - fun for children to play. If your child is older you can use more bottle caps and so forth. This would be a nice little game to bring on the airplane too.
Total Time: 30 minutes
Supplies:
- paint
- paint brush
- magazine
- scissors
- hot glue
- pen
Steps:
- Paint water bottle caps with your desired color (preferably all the same color) and allow to dry.
- Magazines addressed to my home keep coming and I have never ordered them, so to recycle the magazine I was able to make this matching game. I flipped the magazine to find like photos. Example: stars, seahorse, turtle, blueberry, strawberry, and bees.
- Trace bottle cap over image and cut around with scissors closer (or until fits inside the bottle cap).
- Once bottle caps are dried, flip over and apply hot glue then stick the images in each bottle cap.
- Ready to play! And for storage you can put in a Ziploc bag, clear bag, organza bag.
