Meaning of the Numbers on the Underside of Mersman Tables

What do the numbers on bottom of Mersman furniture indicate? I have a table with 24-33. I would love to know what it means. Thanks!

That is the model number.

I assumed it was the model #, but does it give hints as to manufacture date, or any other details? When I input this number on the Mersman site, there is no information. Thanks

Truthfully - the numbers do not really mean very much as there is not a list available that gives any information on these numbers.

  • It is true these numbers indicate the model number of that particular piece of furniture and numbers may help you find a similar table on the Internet but otherwise the numbers are useless.

  • The Mersman company was in business for many years and made over 30 million pieces of furniture but it is very difficult to find any solid information as to when a piece was made, what wood was used, or how many pieces of that style was manufactured.
  • As to value, many things have to be considered - condition, altered (paint), style and most important, the area the table is located as it is almost impossible to ship one of these tables.
  • You will see asking prices run from $40 dollars to several hundred and some of these sell for a good price.
  • If you want to know more about your table, you can start looking at pictures on the Internet (Google, eBay, Etsy, etc) and maybe find one like yours that may have a style, etc.
  • Here is a site that has information about the Mersman company history.

  • Here is a link to Mersman tables presently listed on eBay (but remember - these are asking prices and very few are sold).
