Pierce lemon and orange with large fork. Insert 15 whole cloves in each. Simmer above over low heat 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Combine in large heavy pan. Cover and bring to a boil; then simmer 15 minutes; strain. Garnish with orange slices. Makes 1 gallon. Serve hot.
Using a vegetable peeler, peel the zest from the orange to create long strips. In a medium pot, bring the cider, honey, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and orange zest to a simmer.
Mix all ingredients and simmer 2-5 hours. (Great in a crock pot)
