New Orleans Style Spicy Shrimp

If you like your seafood with bit of a kick, you'll have to try this New Orleans take on shrimp. It's a one-pan dish and ready in minutes. I love this with a piece of fresh crusty bread to mop up the juices. It's very comforting on colder days!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 2 to 4 servings

  1. Place butter, olive oil, chili sauce, Worcestershire, chili powder, paprika, oregano, hot sauce, and garlic in a large pan over medium heat. Cook for a minute, stirring frequently, so flavours open up.
  2. Add shrimp and lemon juice to the mix.
  3. Cook for a few minutes, until shrimp is pink and cooked through. Shut off the heat and stir in parsley. Add salt and pepper to taste. Allow to rest in the pan for a minute.
  4. Serve with crusty bread and mop up the yummy juices.
