No Bake Energy Bites

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 418 Posts

A bowl of bite sized energy bars. This recipe was shared on Facebook by a friend. I left off 2 ingredients. It calls for 1/2 cup ground flax seed and 1 Tbsp. chia seed which I probably should not have because I am on blood thinner. I didn't add anything else to the recipe in place of these 2 items and they came out really good. They are even better when they have been in the refrigerator for several days but you need to put them out of sight as they will get gone fast.

This is right up my alley!! Thanks so much for posting. I will add the other two ingredients, as they help you feel fuller longer, and I don't have any restrictions.

After mixing the peanut butter and honey, I heated it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and then added the chocolate chips. The melted chocolate blended in with all the other ingredients and they turned out really good. They are also good frozen.
