Oatmeal Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup coconut
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup quick oatmeal
  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Advertisement

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:

Beat eggs, add melted margarine and sugars. Fold in nuts, oatmeal, and coconut. Add vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes.

This is quick, easy, inexpensive, and guests rave because the name doesn't do this pie justice. Blend ingredients in order given, pour into 10 inch pie shell.
