Origami is the art of paper folding. I made this brooch by folding denim from old jeans instead of paper. I used the origami scheme for folding a dove.

Supplies:
denim
brooch pin
2 seed beads
ruler triangle
pencil
scissors
needle
threads in denim color
iron
Steps:
Cut out a square from denim with 3.5 inch sides.
Fold the denim square as shown in the photos, ironing the folds.
Sew on the wings. Fold the tail of the pigeon and sew to secure the denim. Bend the beak and sew it by adding beads - the eyes.
