Painting Over Wood Walls in a Mobile Home?

Can you paint over smooth wood in a mobile home? I removed some of the contact paper and under it is untreated wood.

Yes. You can. If the wood has contact paper, that will need to be removed first as paint does not stick well to the contact. Also, It works best to use a primer first as the primer prepares the wood for the paint and you will get better coverage and better success with a good paint job.

Untreated wood must be primed before it is painted.

Yes you can. I would advise to first go into a paint department and get advise from some one who knows what they are talking about , they also will help you in getting the tools you need to do a paint job.
