Peace Tree (Rancho Santa Margarita Lake, California)

Peace: the normal freedom from civil commotion and violence of a community; public order and security.

This tree speaks it all, standing firm beside Rancho Santa Margarita Lake in Southern California. It reminds my very soul to seek peace within myself, society, nature, and the creatures we share this beautiful planet with. God gave us the gift of these small reminders in order to guide us to the serenity we all deserve; the tranquility we all crave.

This very tree wears its heart proudly just below a large symbol of peace as it grows among the vibrant green grass, constantly overlooking the beautiful blue lake, calming the restless spirits of many who travel by. Will we take this loving reminder into our own hearts, or keep on walking by?
