I planted hollyhocks for the first time this year and they are tall stalks with multiple blooms that look very similar to carnations. They are lovely, but they drop their beautiful blooms just when I think they are the prettiest. So I have been collecting them and floating them in my various assorted glassware that I never use anyway!
A recent storm passing through gave me all the blooms in the photo.
I think they look like elegant desserts or a fancy drink! You might even use them as place cards at a party.
Party anyone?
