Please talk to the vet ASAP! This could be anything from parvo to a food allergy so best to get it looked at quickly. Dogs can dehydrate very quickly so they can tell you what to do if it happens again.

Prayers for healing! Post back with an update.

Sometimes we can try to diagnose happenings like this at home but other times it is imperative that we seek professional help.

This seems like one of those times you need to consult a vet as your puppy is at just the right age for serious problems to happen and these things can get very serious quickly.

This could be a sign of other than Parvo but why take a chance?

Read some comments from vets about a puppy vomiting white foam: Kennel cough?

"Kennel Cough: Vomiting white foam can be a symptom of kennel cough, especially when experienced alongside eye discharge, a runny nose, and a hacking cough. Parvovirus and even rabies can also sometimes result in foamy vomit.
"Kennel cough is usually easy to diagnose as it's primary symptom is a pronounced hacking or honking cough that can produce white foam. Other symptoms include a runny nose, sneezing, lethargy and a loss of appetite."

Vet visits, especially on the weekend, can be very expensive but the most important thing right now seems to be what is causing this problem and what needs to be done..

Hi there,

It could be from anything. Puppies try to eat anything they get in their mouth. If you pup hasn't had a parvo shot yet, get him one. It is probably not anything, unless he is doing it many times a day. It couldn't hurt to see the vet. It might turn out to be just worms. I wish you the best with your puppy.

If you have an outside garden and the dog goes out to play all the time he could have eaten some of your plant leaves or even the grass in the garden. It can be normal for them to vomit a little white foam if they have eaten some grass. This is just cleaning out his stomach.

But if he continues on like this it is not normal and the dog needs to go see the vet. I would call the vet and tell them what the dog is doing and see if they want you to bring him in. This could be nothing at all or it could be dangerous and only your vet can really give you an answer for this one.
