Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Wear long sleeves. A denim shirt or jacket is best. Otherwise a sweatshirt with another shirt underneath may work.
  2. long sleeves

  3. Wear long pants, such as jeans. If you have a pair of long underwear, those work as a good under layer.
  4. Wear rubber boots, with your pants tucked inside. The thickest blackberries will be about shin height.

Good looking glove model! Thanks it is the time to tackle these manually. Either that or rent a goat!

I am going to give this a try because I have these plants popping up all over my yard and I hate them. I do not like to use any type of chemicals/poisons (herbicides, pesticides, etc.) in my yard because they are so bad for the environment and the ecosystem. When you kill bugs, you also kill the creatures that depend on those bugs for food and so on.

Using poisons to kill mice ends up poisoning the hawks and owls that hunt them. Nature will take care of itself without interference from humans. Plus, those poisons end up in our water, the soil, and our food.
