Removing Dark Spots on Granite Composite Sink

I put a clear rubber protector on the bottom of my new granite composite sink to keep it from scratching, and now I have dark spots. How can I remove them?

Try scrubbing it with a soft cloth coated in diluted white vinegar, then rinse well.

For stainless steel, rub in the direction of the grain!

Also, you can get staining/darkening if you water is more hard.
