Removing Mothball Smell from Porcelain Dolls?

How do I get rid of the smell of mothballs on valuable dolls in their original boxes that were stored by my mother in a trunk with mothballs. I need to sell these dolls and I don't have any grandchildren to pass them on to.

activated charcoal and vinegar will both neutralize the smell

you can purchase activated charcoal here: www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8... (Affiliate Link)

and as far as vinegar, just leave them in an enclosed space with an open dish of white vinegar (make sure that it cannot fall over!) for a day or so. This should help dissipate.

There is charcoal in newspaper. You can put the dolls (without clothes on) in the sun as well.
