A bar of soap and a soft toothbrush can do the trick on this one. Just wet the soap and use the toothbrush to get some soap on it. Now rub the soap on the spots. Use a clean rag with some water on it to wash the soap away.

If you really want a great finish to a dirty Dooney, I use Coach Leather Shampoo and their Conditioner. My leather purses look amazing. It requires a little more elbow grease but wort it.
tried it with ivory soap and distilled water. Didn't work!
