Shoelace Aglets.The next time the tip comes off one of your shoelaces, dip the unprotected end of string in melted paraffin and shape it to a point before the wax hardens.

Since I have an 8 year old boy, shoelaces are my problem. At this age, they are very active on playing, running, and activities at school. Sometimes, the tip of the shoelace will get split and it's hard to get it inserted into the holes of the shoes.
