My oval rug was curling up in the center (like a hat). I tore the center out to make it lay flat. How do I re-stitch the middle back together? The green is my runner.

To me the fabric they are using looked too thick...but the finished product looked OK. I think I would split the fabric and use a thinner piece.

Thanks for yall trying to help,...I fixed the bowl part by just re-stitching the middle back together Lays nice and flat now, so Im gonna finish making it the size I wanted
