When I find good gallon jugs in recycling, I often keep them to put water ahead, or mix weed killer or plant food. But sometimes, the caps are missing. Foil is a great stop gap but not a permanent solution.
It may be that one day I will not find the cap/lid I need to replace one that is missing. But it was not this day HeHe! Finding the approximate size was easy, as I keep these for craft supplies. The vitamin bottle didn't work but the medicine bottle did. Now, I can lift it without thinking it might spill through the foil.
