Replacing the Thread Guide on a Singer 6215C?

How do I replace the thread guide on my 6215C? The manual doesn't show me how.

I have looked up parts for this sewing machine and I have found one top thread guide here - www.sewingpartsonline.com/thread-guide-assembly-singer-4610.... Is this what you are taking about? This seems to be the only thread guide there is and I can find a replacement part for. I have downloaded the PDF manual for this machine and there is nothing I can seem to find in there how to change out this part. I think the next step is to contact Singer and ask them if they have an instruction sheet for you to follow. Here is their link. www.singer.com/support

Thank you for responding. I've received the part from Singer, however I can't figure out how to install the part.
It may be they've sent me the wrong part.

i do not believe Singer will help you with this as it is an old machine and they usually just send a form letter giving you the addresses of repair shops in your area.

Do you have a new part that you are trying to put on your machine?
Not sure you will be able to find help to do that but you might be able to contact someone in the online Singer forums for help.
This forum is probably the best. You will have to join and they may want a picture of your machine.

I usually suggest contacting Sears Service Center with questions as they have helped me many times with all brands but I'm not sure they are open right now. You can Google Sears Service Center with your zip code and see if they are open in your area. If you already have the part you would have to take your machine in to their shop but usually a technician will look at the machine and generally fix it on the spot and if that happens then it is usually a very small 'service repair' fee. If you need a part they can order it and show you how to fix it when the part comes in.

Here is a manual if anyone needs it.
