Revive Leftover Christmas Cookies

If you have leftover cookies that you baked for the holidays but didn't have enough room to freeze them and they have gotten too hard to eat, try this. Simply place them in a large container with a lid and lay a fresh slice of bread on top. The cookies will become nice and soft again and the bread will be hard. Don't waste the bread. Give it to the birds. You can do this several times to save all those good cookies.

These cookies could also be put in a food processor and processed enough to use as toppings for ice cream or sprinkle over whipped cream on top of a dessert. IAcrumble could be made also for a cobbler with you processed cookies
