Solution for Slippery Concrete?

June 27, 2006

Slippery When Wet ConcreteI need a solution for a slippery carport. Being in central Louisiana we have lots of humidity and it leaves my carport slab extremely slippery. Any solutions? Can we put down sand and a thin coat of paint or some type of sealer to secure it?

Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks,

Try using SKID SAFE Water Based Sealer/Finish with ND Aggregate TM which I have successfully used on my hardwood floors, concrete driveway, and painted garage floors, and in my ceramic tile bathroom.

These materials were very slippery wet before I used these amazing products, and now they are not slippery either WET nor DRY !

I have used them for over 8 years ! See www.ndclean.com, the manufacturer/creator since 1986.
