My book says 6265- degrees at night and 70-80 during day, and no bright light.

According to this article, your orchid is one of the easiest to grow and will do very well in a moderately bright window. It seems to not be as fussy about the temperature:
Important essentials with orchids are 1) water 2) light 3) temperature
Article says:
- daytime temperatures range between 65 and 80 degrees F.
- nighttime temperatures drop slightly to between 60 and 70 degrees F

i have been growing a few orchids for several years and I have found they need more attention than any of my other plants - but maybe that is just me.
