Texas Hamburgers

Ingredients:

• 2lbs. hamburger
• 1 lg. onion, chopped
• salt and pepper, to taste

• 2 tsp. garlic salt
• 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
• 12 hamburger buns

Directions:

Brown meat and seasonings in small amount of butter or oil until just cooked through. Cool. Add grated cheese and mix well.

Put by big spoonfuls into 12 buns. Carefully wrap in foil and freeze. Allow to mellow for 3-4 days before using.

To cook remove from freezer and place on cookie sheet and heat oven to 375 degrees F and bake for 45 minutes. Serve in foil.
