Top Dentures too Loose

I've had my dentures for 5 years and the top does not fit any more. They just rock back and forth. They cause injury when I wear them, but nobody will give me a loan to replace them and insurance will not cover them for another 5 years. What to do?

See if there is a dental school near you. Costs are much less.

In this case you might need to get some denture glue or adhesive to keep them in place and stop the harm they are doing to your mouth. I know this was not the answer you were looking for, but the size and shape of your gums has changed over the past 5 years and they no longer fit like they use to.

In order to continue wearing them you will need to glue them in place so they fit better.

My dad had good results with Seabond. We got his at Walgreens.
