Use a Washcloth on Dust Mop

Use your old dusting mop for mopping with a dollar store washcloth. You can help the environment by not using the disposal floor wipes. I wet a wash cloth with water and press the four corners into the perforated spots on the foam rubber mop head, just rinse often. Reuse, reduce, and recycle all at the same time.

I do this all the time. Try looking for sales on micro fiber (at Ace 6 for 1.00) during Dollars Days. Also have these at auto supplies stores. I have seen them, and ordered 40 for less then 20.00 but the ones at hardware, auto stores are larger. Absorb just as well, come in colors. I like different colors for mirrors, floors, furniture etc. Just remember never put in dryer with softener sheets (deactivates them). Work like a miracle. Cost less, never leaves behind streaks or lint.

If you use wash rags you'll love these. For a dollar it makes the job so easy. I have one at my sinks, sew together as mat out side shower and they do work for your car. Great job! Every penny counts however throwing away more trash these days is equally a sting.
