It's been raining all weekend in Southern California, so we did some indoor crafting today featuring the Valentine's Day Dog!
*Depending on age, this project may need to be pre-cut. This was for my younger toddler to do since she loves dogs.
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
Supplies:
- assorted colored paper
- googly eyes
- hot glue
- glue stick
- cotton balls
- scissors
Steps:
- Prep all the pieces you will need. Cut out a red heart. Cut two square shapes, fold in half and cut out heart shapes - this will be for the dog's ears. Cut out a heart shape for its nose. Lastly, with a little piece of pink paper, cut out a tongue.

- Have your toddler glue down all the pieces - starting with the ears.
- Glue down nose and tongue with glue stick. For the eyes and cotton balls, with adult supervision - I used hot glue.
