1950s sets tend to not have a ton of value. They have a book from that set on eBay for $15 but no recent completed auctions to see what people have actually paid for these books.

I would say that a set from the 50's has no value. You will be lucky to give it away. Some people make sculptures; some make lamps out of this type of book.
