The value of any antique/vintage book will be based on several things;
Age/edition and popularity of that edition.
Over all condition; any water damage/type of material cover/condition of covers/condition of pages/condition of spine/any writing on pages?
Encyclopedia sets do still sell but when talking about big money for an antique set most collectors want a set in almost pristine condition unless of course, it is very rare and this set is available online for up and down prices.
If you would like to sell your set, I would suggest taking several good pictures (pictures of fronts, spines, maps, etc), state any flaws such as messed up pages, weak spines, etc even if you show pictures.
Start price high - maybe $150 - with caption 'all offers considered' plus shipping (media mail).
Leave listed for several months but if no offers received then lower the price and wait again.
