Value of Fleetwood Record Player?

September 24, 2021

A Fleetwood console stereo cabinet.I paid $400 for this record player from the original owners. I would love to restore its wood but the radio and stereo seem to be in perfect working condition. I haven't tried putting in a vinyl yet. But I want to make sure I paid a good price.

Your Fleetwood console is model 4305. It is made in Canada.
Fleetwood console radio model 4078B ser. #132 was sold for $160 www.auctionninja.com/.../fleetwood-mid-century-modern-console... It is in good condition, it's has been in tested, the top has a water mark and light scratches.

Your console has a radio and player on the sides, not like these Fleetwood Stereo Consoles: for $425 in Paris www.kijiji.ca/.../1587484374, for $50 in Bridgewater www.kijiji.ca/.../1586153446. In the center of your console, there is an opening niche. If the niche has shelves, then you have a Vintage Fleetwood Walnut Stereo / Bar Cabinet.

If there are no shelves, then you have Vintage Fleetwood media console, on sale for $100 in Toronto www.kijiji.ca/.../vintage-fleetwood-media- console/1587042400

The price depends on the demand in your area.

I am afraid you paid a little too much for the record player as the market suggests that the going price is far less BUT all depends on what it is worth to you !! It will look beautiful once you restore the wood , and I hope you find that the record player does work, I would go ahead and play a vinyl before taking the trouble to refinish.
