You have a china set with "Zephyr" shape made by the French-Saxon China Co. of Sebring, Ohio.
There are trade ads for the Zephyr shape with the same flower www.laurelhollowpark.net/.../frenchsaxon.html
It has color glaze borders and the odd fish tail type handle.
Replacements.com named this pattern Queen Elizabeth Maroon
Description: Gold Filigree, Maroon Rim, Floral Center

The Zephyr shape with color glaze bordersfrom appeared in the late 1930s. Saxon was founded in 1911. In 1932 both French China and Saxon China stopped production. In 1934 they were combined and re-opened as the French-Saxon China Company. In 1964 it was purchased by the Royal China Company of Sebring. www.sebringohiohistoricalsociety.../frenchSaxon.html
I think your china set is from the late 30s or 40s.
