I have a set, 4 books, of The New Illustrated Medical encyclopedia for home use, copyright 1974, Abradale Press. They are in excellent condition, still in the box that holds all 4 books. I would like to know if they are worth anything?

Unfortunately, old books such as this don't have any real value. Only books that are 100+ years old have a value. These types of books are offered on eBay each day and the owners have a hard time selling them. Most of the listings are cancelled. You can't even donate these types of book any more. If you were to sell them you'd only get a few dollars for them.
This is pretty recent for a book and undoubtedly outdated. I would say it has little to no value.
