You will need to undress the doll and look for markings on the neck, back and/or bottoms of feet. Then you can go to a website like www.dollrefrrence.com to research.

The best way to start is to find out who made them. This can be done easily by looking at the back of the neck, feet or the back of the doll. Look for any marking you can find on them at all.

If you happen to find a marking that is like 105/500 or something like this - that can mean the doll is mass produced and not worth much at all.

People who collect dolls like to buy a doll from a famous doll maker. If dolls are mass produced, which many of them are, they aren't worth much at all.

Cute dolls but trying to find an identical doll without more information would be like the the old saying; "like trying to find a needle in a haystack".

  • You will need to undress and look very carefully all over the backs, necks and sometimes feet for any type of mark, name or number.
  • If you find anything like this, take photos and ask your question again and include any information and photos but ask your question for only one doll each time so everyone can concentrate on that particular doll.

  • If you do not find any markings then most likely your dolls are made by a company that produces dolls for different stores that sell lower price dolls.
  • If you find no markings and still want to sell your dolls, then your local Craigslist would be a good place to list them.
  • You could ask $25-35 dollars for each doll and if no interest is shown, then reduce your price or donate to a charity thrift store.
  • Craigslist is easy to use and mostly free but you will need several pictures and be patient as it may take a long time to sell.
