If it is over 100 years old,it is considered an antique and has value. I would take it to several book dealers and get their opinions. Anything newer is not worth much at all.
What year is it from? As Judy says, it is valuable after the 100 year mark, otherwise you're looking at $20 ish.
Research is complete by using publications date/edition, condition of book, binding material (cloth/leather/etc).
