What rooms are you finding these bugs?
Are you seeing just one occasionally or seeing more and more?
You say they are black and shiny - these look like Oriental Cockroaches to me.
They could be in their early nymph stage, but they will be full-grown in a short time.
"Oriental cockroach nymphs appear extremely similar to adults of their species. Female nymphs are broader and heavier than male nymphs. The nymphal stage spans approximately one year, during which time Oriental cockroaches molt several times."
You really need to take care of this problem as they multiply rapidly.
Here is an excerpt from one university site:
"Oriental cockroaches can cause additional problems. They transmit bacteria such as E. coli and salmonella, taint food with pathogens, and excrete odors that are problematic for people with allergies and asthma. If an infestation is suspected, take quick action to get rid of and keep the pests out."

Bugs love plants so be sure to check all live plants and if you have artificial plants be sure to check the pot/styrofoam as bugs love this stuff.

Looks like a cricket to me. Not sure of the species but Im 100% its a cricket!

This is a very young smokybrown cockroach nymph.

Oriental roaches are pale, tan-colored or brown when young. Oriental roaches are darker only when mature, but then they have wings. cockroachfacts.com/

The Oriental Cockroach is typically dark reddish-brown to black and about an inch long. Although they are slow-moving on smooth surfaces such as vinyl floors, they have been known to climb up water pipes, air ducts, and garbage chutes to reach the upper levels of apartment buildings. These cockroaches can tolerate cooler temperatures, even surviving outdoors in temperate winters, but their choice climate is between 68 ' 84 degrees. This is evidenced by their seasonality as local populations tend to decrease in the winter months, then rapidly swell throughout the summer. You'll need an aggressive pest management approach when it comes to these types of cockroaches and how to get rid of them.
