What Breed Is My Dog?

What Breed Is My Dog?We recently welcomed a sweet little German Shepherd, Sophie< mix into our home, but we have no idea as to what she might be mixed with. I was wondering if anyone might know? Also if anyone might know (roughly) how big she might get? Currently she is 8 weeks old and 6 lbs 3 oz. with long legs. Thanks!

She is very cute, but also too young to really tell what breed or mixed breed she is.

  • Your dog needs their puppy shots to protect them from different illnesses and especially the Parvovirus. Take her to the vet to start these shots.
  • While at the vet ask them if they can help you determine the size and weight of the dog when it's full grown.
  • The vet can do a DNA test on your dog, but it is rather expensive.
  • Go home and check at your local pet shops or online for a home DNA kit for dogs.
  • Purchase the kit and do the test at home.
