What Breed Is My Dog?

black and white dogMy family and I recently rescued a puppy. He was originally from a pound so we did not meet his parents. Everyone asks us what breed he is, but we have no idea. Some people think he may have Border Collie and Podengo in him? We don't think he will get any bigger because his paws are very small. He is very energetic and loves to play. He is approximately 8 months old. His ears are very big, but look smaller in real life.

Your dog is so cute. You are very lucky to have such a adorable little puppy to play with.

  • I am sure you have taken him to the vet for his shots already. This is the most important part of a young dog's life is his first shots.
  • You can ask your vet if they do DNA testing. This is how you can determine the mixed breeds of your dog.
  • The vet might charge a lot of money so you might want to do it yourself.
  • You can buy a home DMA kit online or some local pet stores are now selling them.
  • Buy the kit and run the test on the dog. This will tell you the mixed breeds your dog is.
