I recently got my boy Rocky. The seller said he was Staffy x American Bulldog even his paperwork say Staffy x American Bulldog. But every time I walk him people are saying he is a Pit. He is great with my kids, but keeps snapping at my other dog. Can anyone help?

My first reaction was pit, as well.
that's what I thought we just had the police round to look at him and they said a specialist will come and look at him .
Pit bull or a pitbull mix.
Your dog does look like a staffy/american bulldog mix. These two breeds do have many similarities. You may need to watch the "snapping" at your other dog.
thank you just had the specialist come and they said he was pitbull .what upset me the most is they said he was dangerous because he was shaking his toy so got a muzzle and took him away :'( kids are devastated I don't know what to say to them as he was never a bad dog in their eyes .
I think the only thing you can do now is take his paperwork to the shelter where they took him and buy a home DNA test to take with you. I would demand they do the test to prove that he is actually a Pit or not.
