I rescued this cutie. She is supposed to be a Lab/Shepherd mix. Something tells me she has a little Pit in her due to the cheeks and wrinkles. Thoughts? She is such a sweetheart.

What an adorable face! I don't see any Shepherd characteristics in your dog. I'm not an expert at identifying what breeds are in a dog, but I do have some firsthand idea of what your dog may be mixed with. I have a dog that looks a lot like your dog. She's also a rescue dog. The vet said she was most likely a boxer/lab/ and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. We rescued her about 10 years ago when she was 9 months old. She's a great dog with a wonderful personality. Enjoy you puppy. Rescue pets always seem to have a special sense of gratitude. (Sometimes, in a Ridgeback mix the ridge along their back is not evident as it is in a purebred dog.)

Her tail is about as German Shepherd as she gets.
I dont see any pitbull. You can do a DNA test to find one for sure.
the wrinkles to me say 'boxer' more than anything else, but the jowly face also makes me think 'mastiff'

Too cute!! I see a sweet heinz 57 girl with a little bull terrier (like the target dog), a little lab, a little boxer and a lot of adorable! Talk to your vet to get his/her take!
I see the Rhodesian Ridgeback right away. But that strong jaw and substantial bone do make me wonder. Beautiful dog.
