I rescued this sweet girl a week ago. She's 10 weeks old. They had her listed as Husky Shepherd mix. Her litter mates look Shepherd and the ears are starting to stand fully erect. Other than her eyes that scream Husky do you see it? If not, what breed?

They probably suggested Husky for the blue eyes, but other breeds can have blue eyes and I see a little dachshund in this sweet body and they too can have eyes of blue. For example the way that back leg is turned out is very dachshund like as is the tiny paw size. The face has a little bit of the roundness some doxies have also.
Now I should caveat this with our Clarence is a wire hair dachshund and when we got him we were sure he was a mix with some huge dog because his paws were GINORMOUS! We called them Clydesdale paws. He never did grow into his paws which are still huge on a small boy!! My point is paw size does not always predict the mix/breed.
I would as the vet to weigh in on her lineage as the vet can look at her teeth, jaws, hips and bone structure and give you a good idea.
She is very cute! Post photos as she grows and maybe it will be more evident of the Shepard/Husky part.
