I know that his mom is a chihuahua. He is 5 months old in this photo and weighs about 5 lbs. Unfortunately, his dad is a deadbeat dad, just took off without anyone seeing him.

There's not a lot anyone can tell about breeding at this early age but if you really want to know more about him, a DNA test is a good investment. The DNA test will tell not only tell you about his breeding but will provide information on what size he may be when fully grown and give you pointers on what to look for where health issues are involved. Life spans will also be provided.

Thank you so much for the info. We just picked him up yesterday and he has an appointment with the vet tomorrow. He is such a smart little guy and I already love him so much!!! I think I will do the DNA test for sure.
