What Breed Is My Kitten?

What Breed Is My Kitten? - black, tan, gray, and white tabby colored kittenI'm getting this kitten from my friend soon. She was born on April 7th. I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of kitten she is? I am thinking a tabby of some sort.

Cat breeds with blue eyes include Siamese, Balinese, Himalayan, Persian, Birman and Javanese. Your cat may have one of those in her bloodline.

Typically, when kittens first open their eyes, their eye color will be blue/gray. Their eye color can change as they get older. They should have their permanent eye color by the time they are 3 months old. Tabby is not a breed of cat, but rather a term used for the color pattern of their fur.

Cats with a tabby pattern usually have the marking of the letter "M" on their forehead. Your cat may be a domestic short-hair with a tabby coat pattern. It could also be a mixed breed with some of the "blue-eyed" breeds Judy mentioned in its background.
