What Is This Sterling Silver Charm Called or Used For?

I would like to know what this sterling charm is called and used for. The 925 TC-188 should indicate for Taxco Mexican but I can't make out/recognize the inscribed/etched writing on the back of the head on top. Any help and information is greatly appreciated. Thank you
